Gali is a SAC Registered Counsellor with more than 10 years of clinical experience. Trained in the United States, she completed her academic training and clinical internships across diverse settings — including an acute hospital, hospice, university counselling centre, and private practice — before serving more than a decade in Singapore's social service sector at a counselling centre.
Over the years, Gali has worked extensively with adults and couples navigating issues including anxiety, depression, stress and burnout, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, grief and loss, self-esteem, and personal growth. As a certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional (PMH-C), she also has a special interest in supporting individuals and couples through pregnancy, the postpartum period, and the transition to parenthood.
While Gali’s early training was grounded in cognitive modalities such as CBT and ACT, her practice has evolved to be more emotionally focused and psychodynamically-informed. Today, her approach is collaborative and integrative as she draws from a range of evidence-based approaches to meet each client's unique needs.
Gali’s style is curious, non-judgemental, and supportive. She believes that meaningful therapy grows from a genuine therapeutic relationship and actively engages clients through thoughtful conversation and reflection. She remains committed to ongoing professional development through regular training, consultation, and clinical supervision.
Outside the therapy room, Gali enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, sewing, getting lost in a good book, and embracing the everyday moments of life with her two children.
